SUMMER IS OVER. BUT THE HOLIDAYS ARE JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

Hope everyone's summer was good.
The Shinnston Community Band is starting rehearsals for our Winter concert season on Tuesday September 29 at 7pm in the Lincoln High School band room in Shinnston. We have three concerts planned for this season:
Saturday December 5 at the Lighthouse in Shinnston at 7pm
Sunday December 6 at the Armory in Salem at 3pm
Sunday December 13 in the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center in Clarksburg at 3pm
This season we are asking participants to attend a minimum of 7 rehearsals out of the 11 scheduled rehearsals. We do need your attendance at most of the rehearsals. We recognize not everyone can make every rehearsal. Work, school, illness etc. all can disrupt the best plans. But please, if you know you are going to be missing let Mr. Cale know so that he can plan the rehearsals accordingly. It is difficult when many of us miss an important section of music at a rehearsal, only to return and not be up to speed, making the entire band run through the same section of music again and again. Thanks for your commitment to the band. It is appreciated throughout the community, the county, the region and the state.
